A major renovation and extension that gave an existing Castle Hill residence a whole new way to live.
The original home had plenty going for it. A spectacular hillside setting. Sweeping views across Townsville and Cleveland Bay. But the layout wasn’t making the most of either. So, we opened it up.
The existing house was completely reworked to create generous, connected spaces that bring family life together and draw the outdoors in. At the heart of the home, the kitchen, living and dining areas now flow directly to the pool, terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces.
Bedrooms and living areas were reimagined to give everyone room to spread out, including a private master retreat and media room. Natural stone, timber and integrated lighting add warmth and texture, bringing a relaxed sense of luxury to the interiors.
Outside, the pool, terraces and landscaped gardens turn the hillside into an extension of the home. A place to entertain, unwind and take in the view.
This wasn’t about starting again. It was about seeing the potential in what was already there and pushing it further.
The result is a home that feels entirely transformed. More open. More connected. And perfectly at home on Castle Hill.
